Nanuque You know how I feel about these kinds of portraits. I know how important my session was to me. I tell you the biggest regret I hear from parents with older grown children is that we don’t have any portraits of the children when they are older. DO IT!! Don’t wait. Let me tell you it gets really hard when your children go on and live their own lives. Getting everyone in one place at the same time is extremely difficult. So, I was so excited when this lovely lady came in with her daughters!!
Vanity Fair Family Session
first-rate Oh my gosh!! This family came with their A game– I loved that mom wanted a “wee” different family portrait for their Christmas card. The kids did amazing– check out their magazine style portrait session.

These two! We had such an amazing time. It was such an honor to get to know these two ladies. Tracey came in because she had won a gift voucher for my studio from Enlightened Styles in Warrenton. At first, they were just going to do all casual clothing. And that was okay by me: ) but when I asked if they wanted to go a little Vogue, they were up for it! So we, put on some dresses from the studio closet and the rest is history!

This was such a fun shoot!! I loved their Boho look and we had some fun creating some “Vogue” faces when they were all wearing hats. This was a chance for them to create memories that will last a lifetime!!
Mother and Daughters Portraits
I am a daughter, a mother and grandmother. I have three grown beautiful daughters — I am super proud of them. You’d probably expect a mom to say that — but I would also choose my daughters as friends!! They are cool women!! The little one is my first granddaughter! She and I were born at the same hospital many years apart. Back in the fall, I claimed May 4 as my Mother’s Day present to myself. I told everyone that they must be part of the photoshoot. As your children get older and have their own families, it is harder and harder to get everyone in ONE place at the same time! I will cherish these photos forever!!! When is the last time you’ve had portraits taken with your loved ones? Don’t wait!!
