Dream Photo Shoot | Manassas Portrait Photographer

http://iowacomicbookclub.com/?ga_action=googleanalytics_get_script Andrea and I had been chatting about this session for about 6 months. She was traveling and waiting for her schedule to open up. She told me, “I want you to style me, I want glitter, sparkles and all the glam I can get.” So, I HAPPILY made it happen for her!! I loved every look with did, and so did she!! When we finished up shooting and she was walking out of the studio, she said, “I am ready to do this again!!” — ME TOO, ME TOO!!

Models Portfolios | Manassas Headshot Photographer

I love working with models and actors! A lot of times we have no agenda, it is a time for both of us to play!! I added some amazing items to the studio style closet this year!! The Queen of Hearts | Manassas Portrait Photographer

Why is everything always about Alice? I just love the Queen of Hearts. Her quirky style and sense of humor. There have been many different looks for the Queen of Hearts. This is kind of my ‘vogue’ interpretation of the Queen of Hearts. I had a local printer make 300 Queen of Heart cards for me!! When I first get an idea for a shoot of this kind, it usually starts with one  particular vision.  The image of her lying on the cards is the original image that started this shoot. BUT I ending up LOVING the cards in the air the most.  From my years of shooting, I have realized to be open to the creative process. Sometimes that original vision is just a catalyst for the artwork!!

Magazine Style Portraits

Did you ever want to have a photoshoot that looks like a magazine cover? I LOVED this shoot. And this girl right here had a ball! I loved how my take on the Japanese scroll artwork portraits turned out. It is something different. Scroll all the way until the end of the gallery to see her before styling!

Desert Shoot in Phoenix | Outdoor Portrait Photographer

While out on my trip to the Portrait Masters, my friend and fellow photographer Emily MacPherson of Moonfly Photography set up a portrait shoot in a park in Phoenix that had beautiful desert landscapes. It was such an amazing time. These two ladies were gracious and modeled for us — it was such a beautiful location.  I loved the colors, textures and foliage. It made for a very dramatic backdrop!! Who wants to take a trip with me and go back to Phoenix??
