Elvis Engagement Session | Manassas Wedding Photographer

Asaita Today we did Adrianna and James’ engagement session! Adrianna loves vintage – and when we had to reschedule our session from December to January, she mentioned to me the date we picked was Elvis’ birthday and that she was a big fan!! Soooooo- I arranged to have Elvis drop by while we were at the Jukebox Diner!! Happy Birthday Elvis and I can’t wait for Adrianna and James’ wedding this spring!!! The are such a cool couple and can BOTH do a great Elvis lip curl: ))

Maternity Session | Manassas Photographer

You know what is really cool for me? When I photograph a couple through their engagement, their wedding and their first baby! Selina and Andrew wanted a more lifestyle feel to their photos. Their unique headboard – and the light coming in from the window made for some super gorgeous black and white photos. And I can’t wait to meet their newest addition!!

Fall Senior Photos | Manassas Senior Photographer

This was a fun shoot with Lauren! We started in the studio with her volleyball uniform and then went on location. She did her own makeup and hair- and wanted a “glam” session for her photos. I think with the red dress – she was channeling a little Marilyn!! Really loved getting to know this girl- and wish her all the best in the future!!

The Queen Collection | Fantasy Portraits

QUEEN ~ the female ruler of an independent state, especially one who inherits the position by right of birth. ~ the most powerful chess piece that each player has, able to move any number of unobstructed squares in any direction along a rank, file, or diagonal on which it stands.

Women, you are queens and have power yet to be discovered!! All women have aspects of themselves that lie dormant, are hidden or just need to come out to play!! This personal project is a called The Queen Collection. The Queens come to me through concepts, an action or idea and I create them through photographs. I usually have the ideas in my head for for a while before everything falls into place. I stylize the entire shoot.

I am honored to introduce you to – The Fairy Queen, The Raven Queen, The Magnolia Queen and The Norse Queen. In 2017, I will have an exhibit of all of my queens and it will be a PARTY!! If you would like to be a part of this, please reach out to me!!

Jefferson Memorial Engagement Photography

Jatin and Allison met me at 5:30am at the Tidal Basin! The Jefferson has a special meaning to them- Jatin proposed there on the monument steps!! Sunrise is a beautiful time and we had a blast doing this shoot. The great thing about early morning- there weren’t as many tourists- so at times, we had the whole area to ourselves!! We moved throughout the morning to different locations near and around the Tidal Basin. I really loved richness of the colors they chose for their engagement- so beautiful! Looking forward to their fall wedding!
