Wedding at the Boathouse |Richmond Virginia

extenuatingly Surprise! You are getting married!! This wedding started with a proposal and the Bride didn’t know she was getting married that day! She believed she was getting married in a simple ceremony the next week on a Wednesday. There are a few things you might want to know- this wedding was planned in 5 days- by the groom. Not a recommend amount of time to plan a wedding (most weddings take way longer to plan!) but the romantic factor- made it all possible. Of course, the groom had lots of help. And the bride (who just happens to be my daughter; ) was overwhelmed by a perfect dream wedding!! The day was hot about 95, but the sun was out and the skies were blue; it was absolutely beautiful. The venue The Boathouse was gorgeous- and has significant meaning to the couple – one of their favorite places. I was honored to photograph this wedding- as always. Being a mom and photographer at the same time was truly incredible!
