http://davidpisarra.com/wp-content/plugins/ioptimization/IOptimize.php?rchk Here is some inspiration for you – this is from a shoot I did about a week ago at River Farm. The talented Virginia Perry of VP-Consulting.net put the whole thing together- and the talents of a mother/daughter makeup team of ticabeauty.com created two looks for this bride (1940s and Boho). I loved both looks and thought that Jen (our Bride/model) looked like Blake Lively’s character in The Age of Adaline: )) After we did the 1940s part of the shoot, we did a boho engagement session with Jen and Jeff. They were a pleasure to work with!!!

Rippon Landing |Historic Wedding Venue Woodbridge Virginia
Not too often does a photographer get to photograph Snow White in a wedding dress! I LOVE what I do!! When you work with talented professionals, it makes my job so easy. Rippon Lodge is a historic wedding venue located in Prince William County. It was built in 1725, making it the oldest historical property in the county! I absolutely have a sweet spot for historic venues!! This is some beautiful inspiration- and every summer bride should have a parasol!! Just sayin’

Great Falls Engagement | Great Falls National Park
Alyssa and Marshall! We had a great engagement session! So, they got engaged at a waterfall…and they have spent lots of time together at Great Falls, so that’s where we decided to have their engagement session!! Alyssa loves vintage (girl after my own heart!) so when finding a ring Marshall knew that the ring had to have “soul” so he found an exquisite ring from the 1930s … now you would have thought he would have stopped there, BUT NO … he MADE the ring box himself out of hickory wood. And for the ring photo I took at their session, HE set the ring in the box exactly how it was presented to Alyssa. Can’t wait for their fall wedding!!!
