The ceremony was performed right in front of the pond and the guests sat on hay bales to watch the two “get hitched.” There were many touches to their day, chalk boards that were professionally designed, mason jars that had a chic look to them – I loved the old suitcase that had a slit cut into the side for the cards to be dropped in. AND did I mention the bouquet- simply elegant- the willow branches were formed into a heart and inside the middle were cream roses! The girl’s flowers were paper and made out of coffee filters- Breann found the vendor on Etsy. A very rustic, chic wedding! We were honored to be part of their of day!!!
Kim and Brad were married at Marriott Ranch on a gorgeous August Saturday in Hume, Virginia! There were so many cool things about their day- Kim’s hat for one! Such a vintage look and it went perfect with her dress…and perfect with the ranch! I loved their invitations and how everything for the wedding day had the same beautiful classic rustic look. Brad’s and the groomsmen’s boutonnieres had a rustic, almost steampunk look to them- they were handmade by a friend. That’s what it’s all about having a day that is YOU. And everything on their day definitely reflected who they are- we were so glad to be a part of their day!!
A beautiful day, a quaint church, a beautiful venue, a handsome groom, a stunning bride and a 4 legged cutie wearing a tux = amazing wedding day!! Iliana and Thomas were married at Saint Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church in Middleburg and their reception was held at Regency at Dominion Valley. I loved wandering around Middleburg, VA for their couple portraits- it is a special place for them. One of my favorite shots of the day was them sitting on “their” bench. As always, I am honored to share weddings with my couples- and their families. And this was no exception!! There was lots of energy and love at the reception! Best wishes to you!!

Well, this was a first for me. Shooting a wedding that was on LIVE television! Ashley and Tommy were amazing- they were more nervous about their first dance (I told her all you have to do is sway; ) than being on live TV. The whole wedding came about because Amy’s Bridal was being featured on FoxNews Zip Trip. If you want to watch the wedding here is the clip of the story… if you look closely you may see me in action; ) There were a lot of vendors that made this day possible for Ashley and Tommy (I will list them below). What a great couple- high school sweethearts! The ring Tommy designed himself featuring his grandmother’s diamond. And Ashley’s grandmother gave her wedding rings and Ashley had them sewn into her wedding dress. Ashley was a stunning bride- I absolutely loved the jeweled bouquet made by her mother-in-law!
