Belle Grove Plantation Wedding | Christmas Wedding

Alex and Jack got married on Christmas Eve! It was beautiful… Konakovo Belle Grove Plantation was the backdrop and Alex augmented the already amazing Christmas decor at the plantation with decor of her own and with the artwork of Mason Florist. One of my favorite touches was the movie poster of “It’s A Wonderful Life” above the cake table. It was the favorite movie of the groom’s parents…I love that movie too–but what I thought was really cool was capturing  Alex and Jack starting their lives together under the poster. I actually thought…it IS a wonderful life. I know call me sappy all day long; )  After the cake cutting, we stepped outside and did a group shot on the steps of the plantation. It took a few shots to get about 35 people all looking the right way…someone, in the group shouted out “hashtag happy” and for some reason this gave me the giggles. I loved it!! And started repeating it and so did everyone else! So fast forward to culling through the images, and I notice the flower girl’s shirt #happy. Too cool…so to Alex and Jack and their family…#happy and #itsawonderfullife!

Woodlands at Algonkian Wedding

Cerrena and Austin, 12-13-14, friends and family = “the best day ever”

What a joy to share this day with these two and their families!! Cerrena and Austin have known each other since high school and are such a cute couple! You may remember their snowy buy Clomiphene for bodybuilding engagement… It didn’t snow on their wedding, but it was a beautiful day (a little chilly), a beautiful ceremony, beautiful venue, beautiful flowers and a stunning bride! One of many reasons I love weddings is that people share little bits of themselves … check out this locket that has been worn by the women in Cerrena’s family for generations on their wedding days. And the reception was VERY energetic, thanks to the lively guests and their amazing DJ. Best wishes for the best life ever; )

Lesner Inn Wedding | Virginia Wedding Photographer

Selina and Andrew got married!! It was a beautiful ceremony and beautiful venue, Lesner Inn is right on the water, located on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach. On the way to ceremony, it started to rain…and then magically the rain stopped and then during the formal portraits the sun peaked out! Score; ) Selina was a stunning bride!! The reception was fun; they had a mock newlywed game- Andrew and Selina knew each other so well!! Great fun. I wish them a lifetime of happiness! See their engagement shoot here

Top Of The Town Wedding | Manassas Wedding Photographer

Megan and Tim got married at the Top of The Town! What a wonderful venue–the views were amazing!! The girls and the guys got ready at the Virginia Suites, which was just a few minutes walk away. After the ceremony, we walked down to the park and took the formals and their couple portraits! Their wedding party was very fun…lots of energy. So we ran, jumped and just had a great time! Bull Run Golf Club Wedding

What a gorgeous, joyful couple!! I loved the energy these two had…leaving their ceremony they danced down the isle to Stevie Wonder!! There were so many moments, I would actually like to post their whole wedding here…but here are some of the highlights. It was such an honor to share their day!  Congrats Ann and Keith, I wish you a lifetime of happiness!!

PS- Ann won the award as the Bride with the most bridal accessories!

Their ceremony took place at the Bull Run Golf Club , the beautiful flowers were by My Wedding Flowers ,the cake was by Edibles Incredible and makeup and hair Makeup By Dina.
